Katie has been selling on Etsy for the past five years and has found success selling air plants, terrariums, wedding favors & handcrafted gifts. She has since opened two additional shops for digital products and print-on-demand products, focusing on her illustration and her surface pattern design, within the past year.

Katie graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2016 with a degree in Illustration and Business Administration. After graduation, Katie worked as a production painter for a USA-based home and gift manufacturer where she was hand-painting wood signs and decor. After gaining this first introduction to the home & gift industry, she moved on to manage the art department for a global wholesale home decor and gift importer while simultaneously growing her Esty shop and other business ventures. She embraced her creative passion for design and entrepreneurship, leaned into it, and committed to selling on Etsy + various platforms full time. Her most recent business venture Katie Lyn Designs LLC, officially launched in 2022.
